•  2 cups (drained well-cooked or canned) chickpeas, liquid reserved
  • 1/2 cup tahini (sesame paste), with some of its oil
  • 1/4 cup Olivino's Ultra-Premium Olive Oil
  • 1 tsp Garlic
  • Salt and freshly ground black pepper, to taste
  • 1 tbsp ground cumin, plus a sprinkling for garnish
  • 1 tbsp paprika, plus a sprinkling for garnish
  • Juice of 1 lemon, plus more as needed
  • Chopped fresh parsley leaves for garnish
  • 2 tbsp Olivino's Flavored Olive Oil of your liking (Tuscan Herb, Garlic, Harissa, Lemon) plus more for garnish


  1. Add chickpeas, tahini, Ultra Premium non-flavored Olive Oil and 2 tbsp flavored Olive Oil to a food processor or blender; pulse to make a rough puree, add garlic, salt, pepper, cumin, paprika, lemon juice to puree, pulse to make a smooth puree. You may need to add liquid from chickpeas to the processor to make the puree smooth.
  2. Taste and adjust the seasoning (we often find we like to add much more lemon juice)
  3. Put hummus on a serving platter, drizzle with a fair amount of flavored olive oil. Sprinkle the top with cumin, paprika, and parsley
